I just donated 20 bucks to the american red cross for the tsunami victims and it just makes me feel really good about it and a very good way to start off the year. I feel like helping the world and curing all the little children in Africa by feeding them or adopt all these children, but I know that's impossible for one person to do. It so sad how there are so many unfortunate people in this world. I watch extreme makeover home edition today and they made over this family of four which 3 of the family members had disabilities. The mother and father was deaf and the youngest son was blind. The oldest son is the only fortunate one and he takes care of the family and making sure his brother is safe and doesn't run around the place. It makes me cry with joy when I see them make over their home because it was a huge transition from a crappy home to this gorgeous beautiful safe home. There is always one huge event that occurs such as 9/11, war, tsunamis, etc, that makes us think about how valuable our life is. And it pisses me off sometimes how people are only nice and come together when things happen but when it dies down people brings their asshole selves back into this world. Why can't they stay nice all the time? This world would be such a better place. Well that's just some thoughts before I go to bed.

Happy New Year Everyone! It is bright and early and I'm waiting for ms. Judy to come pick me up so we can go to Providence to look for a last minute New Year's Eve outfit. I haven't gone shopping for a while. My christmas shopping was all finished in one day and it was in 2 shops so I don't really consider it really shopping. I guess when I mean I haven't shop for a while means that I haven't bought anything for myself in a while. Right now I have a slight hangover. I must say I am a really big lightweight when it comes to alcohol. We went to Avalon to celebrate my lovely and beautiful DYS sister Becca's birthday! Saw Gary Payton. He's not that tall! I would imagine basketball players being taller but I guess not. Maybe that's why the celtics always lose. Anywho, I like Paul Pierce better anyways. I will post pics once Clare and Becca uploads. I was not a picture whore last night cause I did not bring my camera which is kind of amazing. Ever since I bought that camera I would bring it to every memorable event that I go to and take a bunch of pictures. omg judy now i know how you feel. i think i did your infamous drunk picture taking and snapped a few on clare's camera. anyways i gotta go. i'll check you all later... have a happy new year and my next entry will be long thought resolutions. drink and drive responsible. be safe!

I can't believe another year is almost over. It seems like summer was just yesterday. I've been through alot and accomplished alot within this year. I was a college student who became a working woman. I worked several jobs and now I have a stable job. I met many new friends that will be in my life forever because I feel that these new people I met deserves my effort to keep in touch. I caught up with old friends and spend time with family. I was on the train this morning and of course the morning trains are always packed and filled with people. So I was standing and minding my own business until this one guy who was sitting down starting yelling at this other guy who leaning close to him to let someone out of the train. The guy sitting down was saying "back off! why you gotta be all up close to me and shit, move back!" In my head I was thinking "Gee why are you being so ignorant! The train is packed and the guy was moving towards one side to let someone out. You are the one sitting down all comfy and stuff and if you are being so retarded then don't take the early trains" That was running through my head and a part of me wants to speak out and say what is wrong with you relax! If you are going to take the rush hour trains expect it to be packed and people all up on you.

There are 2 things I need to discuss and I feel it is very important to address. First thing on this agenda would be gay/lesbian rights. I'm a person who is cool with gay/lesbian marriages and everything that goes along with it. Gay/Lesbians are people as well and it is just like me being asian. It disturbs me when I read on boston.com that gay/lesbian soldiers are being sent home because they told their commander or whatever you call them that they are gay or lesbian. I read in boston.com that they are expected to not say anything about their sexuality. Why should they keep that a secret? It is who they are and regardless whether or not they are gay or straight doesn't mean they won't do as great as a job serving the country. It really frustrate me. Also health benefits now when did this become an issue? I think as a person regardless of race or sexuality all should be treated equally and the policies should be the same even if you are a married gay/lesbian couple. I know that some people are against it but look at it in their perspectives. We are all PEOPLE! PEOPLE is the keyword. We all have eyes, hands, feet and etc. It really irks me!!

Second issue is blind dates set by parents. Am I really getting old or what? I'm only 22 years old and my mom is trying to set me up with a 30 year old pharmacist. What is up with that? I'm still young enough and wrinkle free to find myself a man. I'm single because I choose to be. I just haven't found the right guy. No need to set me up. I knew this day would come but never knew it would come so soon. Help me! Well that's all for now.

Delta's Thanksgiving! Great to see my ladies. We had tons of food. Our menu included spinach & artichoke dip made by yours truly muoi, mashed potatoes, mashed sweet potatoes, ham, fresh spring rolls, shrimp & avacado salad, corn, and pad thai. Everything was homemade except for the pad thai. For dessert we had pumpkin pie and apple pie. It was also great seeing the Jersey ladies. Thanks for coming down. Here's some pictures of our day.

Our gift exchange and everything is made with scrap from our homes. Nothing was store bought.
